Located in the heart of the city, the residence «  l’Observatoire » is a dynamic place, close to many shops and transports that makes your everyday life easier.
   
TO MOVE IN MONTPELLIER

   

You do not have a car? No problems!! 200meters away from the residence , you will find bus stops so that you will be able to go for a drive and visit the city.

If you want you can also take the tramway, lines 1 or 2, whether at the Place de la Comédie or at the railway station. It is only a 5 minutes' walking.

For your distant trip, the railway station is right behind the residence an a bus can give you a ride right to the airport in 15 minutes.

   
MONTPELLIER, A BUSY SHOPPING CITY

   

The residence is surrounded with many shops open on Sundays and a covered market place.

To do some shopping, go to the Polygone. It is a mall with 50 shops on three floors where you can find anything you need.

As for the banks, you can find many national banks (Société Générale, BNP, La Poste…) around the periphery of the residence.

If you get sick, you will find a medical center 300 meters from the residence.

   
MONTPELLIER, A CULTURAL CITY

   

Many festivals, carnivals and artistic demonstrations give rhythm to the cultural life in Montpellier.

You can walk through medieval streets in the Centre Historic of the city to the “place du Peyrou”. You can walk along the “jardins des Plantes, visit museums and have coffee at “place de la Comédie”.

A few blocks down, you can have a meal in the Greek area called “Antigone”, area built thanks to Bofill’s plans and take a walk along the Lez. How about ending the day looking at the stars in the new Planetarium?
   

MONTPELLIER, AN ACTIVE CITY

   

Besides the aquatic activities such as swimming pools, the beach…, you will find in Montpellier many sport equipments, reflecting the high sportive potential of the city.

Soccer, handball, basketball: team sports are favoured. But, you can also go to the ice rink or go horse riding. You can play tennis or skating. For those who prefer to go for a walk, they will find many rambles or climbing in the “Haut Languedoc”.
